For awhile I actually thought this was a forum to state opinions. I now realize it's only favourable opinions for the Canpolitik get-along-gang.

I am sorry that I actually gave this community a pulse for awhile with all the controversy.

You can all go back to your yawnfests.

It's okay, you were just absolutely wrong. It's a forum regarding Canadian politics, not just ranting opinions about celebrities. I know the name "canpolitik" makes it sound like a place where we would exchange Celine Dion gossip, sorry that was confusing.

And I've seen your other posts in communities we share. It's always the same. I think you pride yourself on being "open minded" and inviting alternative opinions, when really you just want to hear people agree with you. I've rarely seen anyone handle disagreements as pathetically as you do. You take every argument too personally, which leads to genuine anger over silly things.

You should work on that. For someone who I believe likes to think of themselves as open minded, you're rarely that. No hint of sarcasm or anything, just an observation.

	Strangely enough, I am inclined to agree. And I didn't like him either. However, he was persistently trolling, and seemed to have no interest in halting the abusive behaviour that other members of the community were concerned with. I'm not sure that banning was the solution, but then I'm not sure what else would have worked. A temporary ban maybe. (Reply to this)(Parent)

I don't get it. You made an inappropriate post, got called on it, and went off in a huff. Most people when they post something that is clearly outside the guidelines of one of these communities, even if they're mad about it, either try to reframe it to make it suitable, or just deletes it themselves. If you read the community info it clearly states that "[t]his is a community for open discussion about Canadian Politics and other salient issues pertaining therein." Your post, with equal clarity, just didn't fit within that frame of reference. As to this community being open "only [to] favourable opinions for the Canpolitik get-along-gang," that's saying a bit much. From what I've read over the past few months (at least when Parliament was in session and this place was more active), there is a lot of debate and clearly not everyone shares the same opinions - but opinions on Canadian politics.
